Greek World
They are walking
On the shingle track
A shower of tiny stones skids down upon the rocks
They shade their eyes against the harsh light
Stinging back from church-white walls
The goat bells chime against the silent sky
She looks towards him with an eyebrow raised

They sit upon the rock
Breathe deeply
One lone cloud
For just one moment
Blurs the light
A lizard scuttles down between two stones
Two women argue in the field below
