Pebble I was lost and alone without you, A solitary pebble on the beach Rolled by the tides of life and Washed by the waves of experience; Frosted and cracked by pain, Left to bake in the aridity of lovelessness Till you came along and saw me lying there, Took me in your arms And held me close and kissed me, Awakening fiery emotions within my breast, Igniting flames of passion within my body And love and contentment within my soul.
