A barrel-shaped moulded jar, 4 ½ inches high. The base bears the embossed registered design number 543226

Registered on 4 June 1909 by De Grelle Houdret & Co., London.

Another similar barrel-shaped lidded jar RD 563868 (registered by De Grelle Houdret & Co. on 3rd June 1910) has been shown, identified and discussed on the GMB at
http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,54806.msg310592.html#msg310592
and it would appear that the lid is similar in each case, but the main difference in each design seems to be the decorative pattern on the barrel sides.
